Game saves can be stored either locally on your device or stored on your store's cloud.
If you have synchronisation issue between your device and the store's cloud first try to close the game, close your device, relaunch your device and the game.
If that doesn't help, you can uninstall the game, close your device, relaunch your device and reinstall the game.
If neither of these option helped resolve your issue, you will need to get in touch with the support team of the store with which you made the purchase (Google Play or Itunes).
They should be able to help you out.
